3 (12 inch) untreated cedar plank
2 (2 pound) salmon fillets, skin removed
1/3 cup Tim's Texas 2 Step BBQ Citrus Rub
- Soak the cedar planks for at least one hour in water. Soak longer if you have time.
- Season generously salmon fillets with Tim's Texas 2 Step BBQ Citrus Rub.
- Preheat outdoor grill for medium heat. Place the planks on the grate. The boards are ready when they start to smoke and crackle a little.
- Place the salmon fillets on the planks. Cover and grill for about twenty minutes. Fish is done when you can flank it with a fork. The salmon will continue to cook after you remove it from the grill.
